As you may see in a number of my paintings that the sky, especially the night sky, plays an important part in the art I create. When searching for inspiration the celestial heavens hold no bounderies. I see telescopes as almost magical instruments serving as a gateway from hear to the stars. Woodworking is a medium I like to work in as well as painting and it works well to express my homage to the telescope. These are both functional telsecopes and I no longer have them as they have both been sold. I have many ideas for more scopes and hopefully will be able see some of them through in the future.
